Helping Hands and Social Services was officially launched as a consulting and placement services company in 2006 by Taylor Harris. Taylor has over 20 years of experience working in the special needs community and with MHMR individuals. Serving in many roles over her career, she understands the needs of the intellectually challenged and disabled and has dedicated her life's work to this cause.
Having several family members with special care requirements, Taylor personally knows the emotional, physical and financial demands that often accompany this community. As a result, she is focused on helping to improve the availability of supported residential living for intellectually challenged people who are transitioning from dependent environments to independent living.
Fueled by inspiration from her grandmother, Taylor continues to follow in her footsteps in serving others and supporting her local community. This will always be her mission in life - to help others.
